Absolutely agree. Don Hecks inking and style really comes through in close-up shots; where shading is most clear – first panel being most obvious. The panels that are expansive and ‘long-shot’ clearly show Ditko’s distinctive style the most, perhaps because the delicate and intricate lines of Ditko’s detail where not treated as harshly be the inks of Heck.
While Don Heck’s inking is strong and distinctive, the layout and figurework is pure Ditko.
