  1. While Don Heck’s inking is strong and distinctive, the layout and figurework is pure Ditko.

    Absolutely agree. Don Hecks inking and style really comes through in close-up shots; where shading is most clear – first panel being most obvious. The panels that are expansive and ‘long-shot’ clearly show Ditko’s distinctive style the most, perhaps because the delicate and intricate lines of Ditko’s detail where not treated as harshly be the inks of Heck.

    Its a great page for both artists. What variety!
